CSW 2026 is hosted by Kenya's State Department for Correctional Services (SDCS). Correctional Service Week runs nationwide from 12–16 October 2026. The conference itself takes place 13–15 October 2026 at the Edge Convention Centre, Nairobi, under the theme “Transforming Correctional Services through Technology and Green Solutions.” About 800 delegates, experts, practitioners and partners are expected.

Correctional Service Week (12–16 October 2026) is the broader nationwide observance. The three-day conference (13–15 October 2026) is the main in-person programme of plenaries, papers, exhibition and closing events at Edge Convention Centre. Most website registration, programme and abstract flows refer to the conference days.

The venue is Edge Convention Centre on Red Cross Road, South C, Nairobi, near Nairobi National Park and about 10 minutes from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). See the Venue page for directions, parking guidance (over 500 on-site spaces) and an interactive map. Airport transfers can also be arranged through partner hotels listed under Accommodation.

Use “Register for the event” in the site header, or open the Register page. Create an account with your full name, email, password, organisation and country. Once registered you can sign in straight away and open your delegate portal. If you need any help with registration, contact the secretariat at csw@correctional.go.ke.

Your category is assigned automatically from the country you enter at registration: Kenya → National delegate; other African countries → Regional delegate; elsewhere → International delegate. After signing in you can review or update your profile (including partner or sponsor categories when relevant) on the My profile page.

Yes. During registration you may add additional delegates (up to 20) with their own name, email, organisation, country and passport details. After signing in, use My profile → Manage additional delegates to add or update colleagues.

Fee details vary by delegate category and are confirmed by the conference secretariat. Contact the conference secretariat using the form on this page or email csw@correctional.go.ke (Regina Muriuki +254-721-300-731; Eliud Opilo +254-722-292-380) for the current schedule for national, regional and international delegates.

Use “Register for the event” and switch to Sign in, or open /?signin=1 directly. Enter the email and password you used at registration. Staff and secretariat accounts use the separate Staff sign-in page at /login and should not use the public register flow.

The portal is your private dashboard after sign-in. From there you can update your profile, manage additional delegates, submit or follow abstracts. Programme and sponsorship PDFs are public on the Programme and Sponsorship pages (no sign-in required); signed-in delegates can also download them from the portal Resources section.

Yes. Delegate registration is open to participants who are not presenting a paper. Register for the event, complete your profile, and attend conference sessions without submitting an abstract.

Sign in, then open Abstracts and complete the submission form (title, author names, email, affiliation, track, abstract text and file). Abstracts are due by 28 August 2026 at 23:59 East Africa Time. You must be registered and signed in to submit. After the deadline the form closes, but you can still check status with your submission ID.

Accepted authors upload the full paper on the Abstracts page (Papers section) using the submission ID from the accepted abstract. Full papers are due by 28 September 2026 at 23:59 East Africa Time. Upload PDF, DOC or DOCX (25 MB or smaller).

Tracks follow the conference theme: Digitalization; Green infrastructure; Electronic solutions and innovations; and Climate smart agriculture and environmental conservation. Upload your paper as PDF, DOC or DOCX. Keep a copy of the unique submission ID returned after a successful upload (for example CSW26-AB-0001).

After submitting you receive a unique submission ID. Use the Abstract status page to check whether your submission is submitted, under review, accepted or rejected. You will also receive email updates when the review status changes.

No. Delegates book directly with listed partner hotels. Open the Accommodation page for hotels near the venue (with rates and contacts where provided), then book via the hotel website, email or phone. Mention CSW 2026 when you enquire so hotels can advise on availability and any conference rates.

The Accommodation page lists partner options including Serena Hotels & Resorts, Emara Ole Sereni, Ole Sereni, Tamarind Tree Hotel, Eka Hotel, The Boma Hotel, Okash City Boutique Hotel, Four Points by Sheraton Nairobi Hurlingham, and Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport. Each hotel page has contact details and booking links where available.

Open the Programme page for the three-day overview, or download the programme PDF from that page or the delegate portal. The current overview follows the official concept note (opening, papers, plenaries, exhibition, closing, awards gala and optional excursion). Detailed session clock times will be published when confirmed by the secretariat.

Speakers are published on a rolling basis on the Speakers page and homepage as the secretariat confirms them. Day themes for 13–15 October are already listed; timed agenda slots remain “to be confirmed” until the detailed programme is released. Watch homepage announcements for updates.

Yes. CSW Connect is the official iOS and Android companion for the conference — sign in with the same delegate account as this website. Browse day themes and the programme, build My Agenda, enrol in workshops, view venue information and an approximate floor plan, read sponsor listings and speaker profiles, opt in to the attendee networking directory (browse only — in-app messaging is not available), submit evaluations, and receive optional push alerts. Programme, speakers, and sponsors sync to your device for offline use when venue Wi‑Fi is limited. App Store and Google Play links will be published when the release is live; the secretariat may invite internal testers via TestFlight or Play internal testing beforehand.

Plenary sessions and keynotes are intended for the official SDCS YouTube channel. The livestream URL will be published on the homepage ahead of the conference opening on 13 October 2026. No registration is required to watch once the link is live.

The site will announce any pre-event webinars under Conference updates / News once dates, topics and registration links are confirmed by the secretariat. Until then, treat webinar details as to be confirmed and check the homepage announcements regularly.

Review packages on the Sponsorship page (Strategic Partner, Gold, Silver, Exhibitor, plus targeted items and gala options), download the sponsorship prospectus, then submit the sponsorship interest form. The secretariat will follow up on availability and contracting. Strategic Partner is exclusive: one Strategic Partner only.

Indicative package prices and benefits are published on the Sponsorship page and in the downloadable sponsorship prospectus (for example Strategic Partner KES 2,000,000 / USD 15,000 through Exhibitor KES 250,000 / USD 2,000). For custom or in-kind proposals, use the interest form or email csw@correctional.go.ke.

Registered users and visitors can download a branded provisional conference programme PDF (generated from the latest published day themes or sessions — the full detailed timetable is confirmed by the secretariat later) and the sponsorship prospectus from the Programme and Sponsorship pages without signing in. Signed-in delegates can also reach both PDFs from the portal Resources section. Contact the secretariat if you need an official locked booklet urgently.

Confirm you are using the same email as registration and that abstract submissions are still open (deadline 28 August 2026, 23:59 EAT). Clear your browser cache or try another browser if the form fails. If the problem continues, contact the secretariat with your full name, email and a short description of the error (include your abstract submission ID if you have one).
